Asi space is 660 square meters with a wide view from ceiling windows. Natural light during the day and beautiful indoor lighting at night. It’s a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for up to 200 people. Dance floor by natural wooden thick floorboards. Excellent sound system and strong air conditioning.

Information

What to know about milonga?

  • Water, tea, coffee, fruits , snacks and light food are available during 5  milongas
  • During the breaks you can bring food to the venue to eat and chat or rest.
  • Bring your cup for eco and take away your glass bottles for recycling.
  • Seats are all free and not fixed; no table reservation and tables are all shared.
  • Respect milonga manners & rules: mirada / cabeceo, line-of-dance in ronda.

It near to Asi, is a local religious center, located on Chelutou Street and Lixing Road, where you can experience the daily life of dining out for Taiwanese. Many kinds of dishes, desserts, snacks on the street. Although the taste is not the best, it’s like a fieldwork to explore the local culture.

Sanhe Night Market 三和夜市

Andrés Molina

Andrés, "Originally from Buenos Aires and now based in Paris, Andrés is a professional tango dancer and teacher, DJ and organiser of milongas and festivals. With 18 years experience and outstanding musical selections (Golden age tangos with groovy cortinas), he is renowned for the great mood and energy he creates wherever he plays. A DJ who gives a night to remember!"

Benjamin Lee

Benjamin, based in Seoul, Korea, has been an enthusiastic social tango dancer and a traditional tango DJ since 2011. Invited to DJ at various tango events across Asia, Europe, the US, and Australia, he has a passion for traditional Golden Age tango music, carefully selecting energetic, danceable songs. He respects the music of great orchestras and the emotions of dancers, aiming to play the right tandas for each moment. Benjamin sees his mission as connecting the masterpieces of tango musicians with milonga dancers in a meaningful way.

Ezgi Turmus Binici

Ezgi, is one of the popular Turkish TDJ, teacher, leader and follower of dancer from Samsun, Turkey. She prefers a selection of traditional music that ranges from the 30s to the late 50s. and  cares about balancing the rhythmic and soft / emotional during the milonga.

Howoon Chung

Howoon, also know as Loco, mainly play Golden Age tunes, but also play some of the songs in Guardia Vieja and post-Golden Age to bring freshness to the people to bring freshness to the floor. He has been dancing tango since 2011 in Daejeon, South Korea. And Djing since 2012, from significant milongas in various cities of South Korea and even Asia tango events. Now he has moved to the United States and is active at the various milongas in San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Jaco Chen

Jaco, is famous for creating ecstatic flow in the dance floor in Taipei Taiwan. Starting his DJ journey since 2016,  he is an active DJ in international events across major Asian cities. Always putting dancers’ pleasure and enjoyment as the top priority, Jaco’s selection of music is consist with classic tango songs from the Golden Age, arranged and designed in his own unique style.

Mona Ardeleanu

Mona, based in Sydney, Australia, plays tango with love and believes without genuine love for the music true tango cannot exist. Her music creates unique musical invitations for dancers to move from one world to another. She doesn't have a recipe for a perfect milonga, she chooses her tandas from her heart and her reward is to see plenty of smiles, hugs and memorable moments.
